Sonnets By A Black Man

Love or Nature, Whimsical or Defiant Political Protest, Past, Present or Future -- "Sonnets By A Black Man" is dedicated to the perservation of formal, metered, rhythmic, rhyming poetry. Poetry written in the traditonal sonnet style of poets like Claude McKay, Countee Cullen, Helen Johnson, Paul Laurence Dunbar and countless others. This page hopes to continue the tradition of such notable bards and reintroduce old and new audiences to the scope and beauty of such verse.
